From his studio in Royal Oak, Michigan, Artist Duane Scherer works with a wide variety of materials used to create eclectic designs for his unique time pieces. Materials include painted wood, paper, copper wire, acid washed metals, and found objects. He combines these materials into designs that express hidden flights of whimsy within each clock. Duane utilizes many different elements and styles to create a wonderfully inspiring collection of work.
This star clock is the epitome of functional art. With brown tones and modern style circles, it is a really cool and funky design. This clock is battery-operated (batteries not included).  Definitely one of my favorites!!
