d.j. freshie is a unique line of jewelry that is a collaboration between these artists. The whimsical images used in the jewelry are originally painted on one-of-a-kind plates. With these earrings the image is a black and white sketch of a dog. They are then photographically copied and printed in miniature on archival paper. The images are set into sterling silver settings, sealed with an optical quality, shatterproof polycarbonate plastic, and accented with freshwater pearls and semi-precious gemstones. The jewelry is not waterproof and should be handled carefully. The protective plexiglass surface may be cleaned with a tiny amount of rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip.
