Description   This pin was handcrafted from manmade plastic clay, using the millefiore technique. Millefiore (literally: a thousand layers) is an ancient technique originally used to make glass beads. The pieces are not hand painted, but cut from a long log or “cane” developed by the artist. Similar to the idea of a jelly roll.
